Through the Shoppers Guild, you have access to a myriad of tools to make your shoping experience better.  Membership is free, but even non-members get access to all of our great shopping deals. (And we certainly don't force you do download printing or tacking software like some sites.  We don't believe in shady spy-ware gimmicks like that; it's not what we're about.)

Our Mission is two-fold.  First, we are here to help the Consumer.  We believe that there is always a great deal available, and that it doesn't make sense to miss out.  This is what we call "intelligent shopping:" having what you want, while paying a better price for it.  It's pretty straightforward, but so many people ignore savings opportunities every day.  Of course, sometimes these missed opportunities are unintentional.  It's not always easy to sift through every newspaper, junk mailbox notice, or e-blast to find out which local stores have the best deals of the day, week, or month.  And keeping track of the deals you do find, through all those different media, can also be quite difficult.  So we make it easy:  we bring  in  the local deals from your city and offer them to you in one place.  You can sift through these deals from the convenience and cleanliness of your computer, searching by store category, by key word, or by store name, and adding the ones you want to your shopping list.  Then, if you're ready to head out, you can print the list of deals right away, or email it to yourself for printing at a later time.  Before you leave, though, make sure to check the forums for postings about current sales in the area. And if you happen to see or hear of one going on, don't hesitate to share.  What could be better than having all these resources in one place?

Secondly, of course, we are here to help local shops and services.   Times may be trying but, even in good economic  climates, promoting a business can be difficult.  Competition is an aggressive monster and new customers or clients are sometimes hard to come by.  So we have created a Free and Easy service that gives local businesses categorical and alphabetical visibility, as well as access to an online deal distribution network.   From those users who become members, we take general demographic data (like age and gender, nothing personal) and use it as market research to let stores know which groups really find their deals appealing (also for free).

The team here at the Shoppers Guild is comitted to you.  Yes, it may sound trite, but we mean it.  We make it our goal to promote a more sensible shopping experience.  We believe that two major parts of what makes America great is that A) we have access to so many diverse goods and services, and B) we have so many entrepreneurs devoting their talents to provide them.   This is something that all Americans and welcome visitors should celebrate, and not shun.
