The Shoppers Guild (hereafter known as “the guild”) guarantees that your name and personal information will not be available to anyone outside of the guild, and will only be available to employees of the guild as regards targeted business promotions and market research. General aggregate data collected from that research (such as demographic samples of gender and age, etc. – but not names) will be made available to business customers as a free perk of doing business through The Guild, to help them better hone their promotional offerings. Such findings will also be made available to stakeholders of the Guild for developmental and promotional purposes.

The Guild retains the right to re-publish any remarks made on the site, through a site messaging service, or in the forums with or without the username and avatar of the poster/author. Real names, however, will not be used without permission.
You will not (and will not allow any third party to) use the Guild or any of its services to track or collect personally identifiable information of Internet users.

Should you request it, the Guild may implant a cookie on your computer to provide you with specifically targeted updates to the system or to the list of available shopping deals.

In registering as a member of the Guild, you acknowledge that you will not reveal any information about the site (readily available or self-discovered) to any current or potential competitors, nor will you or your business help in any way to create a competing business so long as you are a member of the Guild and for two (2) years following your termination of said membership.

In becoming a user member of The Guild, you agree to these above terms and agree to submit any ensuing legal disputes over these conditions of this policy and the specifics discussed therein to mediation, first, followed – if no arrangement is agreed upon – by binding arbitration, and not to a court of law.
